It's been awhile since this has been talked about. So, I have a update for everyone today! It's much easier to configure, with less steps and better customization. We also have a 8 to XP Pack in beta, http://8toxp.weebly.com/

NOTE: Download the zip file. Extract it to get the "7 to XP Pack" folder, then move that folder into the Globalization folder and continue the tutorial.

In this video i will show you how to change Windows 7 into Windows XP
Steps:
1. Download files
2. Extract them
Theme patcher :
Open 7 to xp pack folder
Click theme patcher
Patch your system ( If required ) .
Windows XP sounds :
Go to control panel
Hardware and sounds
Change system sounds
search for the sounds and replace them with those.
Windows XP theme for 7 :
After patching your system type in run the following -
'' C:\Windows\Resources\\Themes '' .
Copy all the files to that folder .
Start orb changer :
Open the folder '' Start orb changer ''
Click the executable file ( Start orb changer v2.6 ) .
Choose for the .bitmap file ( provided in the folder ) .
Click OK.
XP Logon screen :
Open the application called '' Tweakslogon '' .
Choose for the wallpaper logon
( Provided in the folder ) .
Wallpaper :
First open up run
Type in the following '' C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper '' .
Copy all the wallpapers in the folder to the '' C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper '' -
folder .
XP Icons for Windows 7 :
Open the folder
go to personalization'
in the left you will see desktop pictograms
Search for pictograms and replace them with those .
Music : 009 Sound System, Dreamscape (Long edit)
